Why does the program need money?

Currently, Restorative Justice receives funding to merely cover the cost of staff and housing. Therefore, we raise money to cover services that will continue to make our program succeed in making a difference in the lives of the youth in our county. Every penny that we raise goes back to the community in some shape or form. Our intentions with the majority of the money we raise is to provide positive, fun, and educational activities for the participants of the Mentoring Program. The majority of the youth in our program come from families with low income, so they are unable to experience some of these educational opportunities. We help provide these opportunities to them.
